Videography & Editing

I offer a complete videography service, able to capture a wide range of events as a single camera operator, from conception of idea to delivering the final video (in any format you may require).
I am also currently in training to conduct commercial operations with my drone which will add a completely new dynamic to my videography. If one camera operator won’t be enough to cover the job I have a network of people who I will be able to recruit to make sure your video is the best it could be.

Alongside filming I also offer an editing service. Do you have lots of footage saved of your event but don’t know what to do with it? Are you an up-and-coming internet star that needs to dedicate more time to your craft and less to the behind-the-scenes? Are the times moving to quick for your gadgets to keep up? Let’s have a chat.

Photography

I also offer a photography service to whoever may require it with much the same features I have stated above. I have had the opportunity to photograph many different types of events and scenarios already so please don’t hesitate to ask me about capturing your event.

Consultancy

Having been a camera guy for almost 10 years and a tech enthusiast for as long as I can remember I feel confident in offering a consultancy service, being able to help you make the important decisions regarding cameras, lenses, computers and other general tech. From making sure you choose the right phone for work or home, to outfitting a new home with the right gadgets to improve your productivity, to making sure your next car lease is going to be the one you’re happy with from day 1 to day 100; if you need some help deciding which products are right for you and your needs then feel free to get in touch.

MY mission

I want to create work that showcases the beauty of the world we live in. Creativity is all around us, yet we somehow manage to acquire horse-blinkers that focus our attention away from the beautiful. I want to make sure that everything and everyone that is creating something, anything, gets it’s deserved time in the limelight, captured in a way that accurately accentuates their best qualities. 

About Me

MY NAME IS mike

I’ve always been fascinated by photography, which I think originated from my mother taking photographs from her garden with her handicam. I was always mesmerised by the ability to turn a small flower into a huge, digital mountain. This fascination itself truly blossomed when I was a teenager discovering a love for photographing and filming my friends skateboarding. I was never much of a skater, my ankles just didn’t do what I told them to, but I was regularly at the skate park with my camera. Following college I decided to turn my hobby into something more; I studied Media Culture and Production at Southampton Solent University (now just Solent University) for 3 years. During my 3 years I worked as hard as I could as a student, a restaurant waiter and as a freelancing content creator. Graduating with a 2:1 in 2016 I have continued to freelance with my best friend until we joined the creative company we started with another, run by a colleague-turned-friend from University.
